HIMACHAL PRADESH STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION-HAMIRPUR DISTT. HAMIRPUR Online Applications are invited for direct recruitment of under mentioned categories of posts using the website (http://hpsssb.hp.gov.in) of Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission .

Vacancy Details:

Name of the Post :Sr. Scale Stenographer (on contract basis)

Total Number of Posts: 02 posts  Gen(UR)-02

Salary Details:   Rs.  10300-34800+4200GP
       
Age Limit:  The applicant should be between 18 to 45 years as on 01-01-2016  The upper age limit is relaxable by five years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and
Other Backward Classes.

Last Date for apply: before 17th  November 2016 till 11:59 pm.
   
Educational Qualifications:
Graduate from recognized University, in 1st division with minimum 3 years experience in related field and a speed on 120w.p.m. and 35 w.p.m. in English shorthand and Typewriting respectively having additional knowledge of Hindi typewriting. Should have proficiency in Computer Application (MS Office). Person possessing Diploma/ certificate in computer operation will be given reference.

Selection Process:

  • Objective type screening test (MCQ) consisting of General English Graduate standard and Hindi up to Matric standard, General Knowledge including General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh,Everyday Science, Social Science, Current affair & Logic. =100 Marks
  • Skill test in Shorthand either in English and typewriting on computer of prescribed speed of English for those who qualify objective type of screening test
